Grieving a Loss to Suicide

A monthly drop-in support group held on Zoom for adults in the Jewish community and beyond who are grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide. This group offers a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to connect with others who understand this unique kind of loss. Participants are welcome to share, listen, and find support as they navigate the complexities of grief and healing.

Sibshops offer brothers and sisters of children with a variety of special needs a place to meet other siblings in a relaxed, supportive, and recreational setting. They discuss their common joys and concerns, learn to handle sibling-specific “sticky situations” and have fun! For kids ages 6-12 years old.

Offering a compassionate space for healing and connection, the group will meet in person for six Monday evening sessions. Journey to Build a Family

This virtual drop-in space is for those experiencing challenges building a family. We welcome those experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, grief, and the sheer exhaustion from it all. It's not a club anyone wants to be a part of, but if you are a person in their 20s or 30s who has lost a parent, sibling, or partner, sometimes it's good to be with people who get it. Co-sponsored by Mishkan Chicago, Base Chicago, and JCFS Chicago, this group meets monthly to share memories of our loved ones and discuss our experiences of grief in a supportive space.
