With a strong understanding of the importance of delivering evidence based trauma informed and specific care the new Kaufman Wolf Center for Trauma & Resilience offers prevention, intervention and resiliency building services to individuals and communities thought the Chicagoland and surrounding suburban areas,

Direct Mental Health Services
Our team of professionals use current, evidence-based mental health care interventions, incorporating a cognitive behavioral approach to creative arts therapies into a strength-based, individualized, collaborative approach to help individuals, couples, families, groups and organizations build skills, develop positive strategies for coping and strengthen resiliency within their families and communities.

Building Community Resilience (Education and Advocacy)
Using the same evidence-based foundation to deliver programming that is both trauma specific and informed, the Center partners with communities of all types to assess needs and determine ways to promote and support wellness regarding trauma exposures, related distress and care practices. This includes presentations and written materials that help groups address the present and ongoing needs of community members.

The Center is designed to support the ability of individuals, organizations, and communities to build resilience, adapt, and grow through adversity via three areas of focus by providing direct care, resilience building (education and advocacy), and emergency response.

Crisis Response Services
Incorporating the current work of the Jewish Community Emergency Response Team (JCERT) and additional interventions, the Center provides and coordinates support to the community to foster and promote ongoing resilience by providing support for communities following a crisis, such as fires, suicides, homicides and other traumatic events.
