Join us for a powerful evening as Jason B. Rosenthal—author, speaker, advocate, lawyer, and clinician—opens his heart and shares the profound story of love, loss, and resilience. When his late wife, Amy Krouse Rosenthal, wrote the viral New York Times essay “You May Want to Marry My Husband," the world was moved by her words. Jason was forever changed.
In conversation with Ann Luban, Senior Director of Jewish Community Services at JCFS Chicago, Jason will take us beyond the headlines to reflect on what it means to rebuild a life after unimaginable loss. With candor, compassion, and hope, he’ll share both his deeply personal journey and the wisdom gained from his dual careers in law and mental health—helping others navigate grief, resilience, and the complexities of the human experience, while offering the important reminder to have the meaningful conversations that matter most—while we still can.
The program will be followed by a dessert reception.
