Services for People with Disabilities (SFPD) presents a free Community Education Workshop
All About Service Dogs
When: Tuesday, March 25th, 2:00pm-3:00pm central time
Where: Online via Zoom

Service Dogs are long standing tools for independence. There are many ways service dogs can be trained to help people with disabilities be more independent. From Guide Dogs to Diabetic Alert Dogs, Autism Service Dogs to Mobility Service Dogs, each dog is individually trained to support an individuals’ independence and ability to engage and access the world around them.

This presentation will provide information to help you through the process of knowing what service dogs are, determining if this is the right for you, or a loved one, and provide assistance in locating the right training program. Kristin Hartness the Executive Director at Canines for Disabled Kids will be presenting.

This event is free and open to the public. Continuing education credits are available for QIDP's. *Session may be recorded.

Hand in Hand: Grief Support Group for Spouse/Partner Loss

This grief support group is designed for individuals aged 55 and younger who have lost a spouse or partner within the past two years. Offering a compassionate space for healing and connection, the group will meet in person for six Monday evening sessions, starting on March 31 (skipping April 14 due to Passover).
