Darcy J. Chamberlin is a partner with Chamberlin Reichert Law Group, P.C. where she concentrates on estate planning, probate and trust administration. Ms. Chamberlin is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a member of the Special Needs Alliance (SNA) and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
Understanding and Engaging the Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Model (TF-CBT) for Children and Adolescents
Learners in this course will get an overview of the clinical indications for engaging this model. They will learn relevant definitions and how integrate this model into their practice. Using real case examples, sessions will focus on not only diagnostic and symptom considerations, but the PRACTICE acronym and tangible activities that providers can engage in with clients. Participants will be able to bring in their own cases as well, to explore ways that this model can be used in their offices. The objective for this seminar is to provide concrete methods for clinicians currently treating youth with trauma exposure and to utilize the knowledge.
