Join us for our 2 - to 3 - year-old play group, designed to develop communication, language, and social skills. Waiting, turn-taking, following directions, and transitions are incorporated into preschool activities, like circle time, art, and pretend play. Our Speech-Language Pathologist will incorporate monthly themes to enhance vocabulary development, knowledge of early basic concepts, and pre-literacy skills.

This grief support group is for adults who have experienced the death of a loved-one within the past two years and offers a supportive space to share, heal, and connect with others who understand. The group will meet on Thursdays, in person at Anshe Emet for six weeks starting April 24, 7-8:30pm. Registration required and space is limited. Contact Leah Shefsky to register. Services for People with Disabilities (SFPD) presents a free Community Education Workshop. Join us for a presentation by the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). This presentation will cover accessible public transportation in Chicago. We will take a closer look at accessibility features on fixed route public transportation, RTA Fare Programs, ADA Paratransit, and the Taxi Access Program. We will also discuss RTA’s free Travel Training Program and how to plan an accessible trip in Chicago.
