A recognized pioneer in the field of family-centered child development.

For over 70 years, the Virginia Frank Child Development Center has been Chicago's trusted pioneer in family-centered child development and therapeutic services. Located at the Abe and Ida Cooper Center in Rogers Park on Chicago's North Side, we've supported thousands of children and families throughout Chicagoland with comprehensive mental health services designed specifically for young children facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

Our nationally recognized center serves families from across Chicago, including Rogers Park, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Uptown, Edgewater, and surrounding North Side neighborhoods. We offer specialized care that helps children reach their full potential while strengthening parent-child relationships through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

As a Gateways Registry Authorized Entity and part of JCFS Chicago's family of services, we not only provide direct therapeutic services to children and families but also comprehensive training and consultation to early childhood professionals throughout the Chicago area.
