The Healing Shofar: A Pre-Holiday Workshop for the Bereaved

This year, The Healing Shofar will be offered in two formats:

  • In-person on Wednesday, September 10, at Temple Beth El in Northbrook from 7-8:30pm CST.
  • Virtually on Tuesday, September 16 from 7-8:30pm CST.

This meaningful workshop is for those grieving the loss of a loved one and facing the Jewish Fall Holidays with sorrow or uncertainty. Together, we will reflect on the grief process, explore Torah texts related to the Days of Awe, and discuss ways to honor the memory of those we've lost.

You'll gain supportive strategies for navigating the High Holidays and discover thoughtful, healing ways to move forward during this sacred season.
