JCFS Chicago’s Respite program provides support to families caring for children and youth with special needs.
Our respite program takes a supportive, nurturing and therapeutic approach, combined with fun, social and recreational activities, while providing a well deserved break for parents.

Lev Chicago Respite
An after-school respite program for Jewish children with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Lev Chicago Respite provides a nurturing, therapeutic, social/recreational and religious environment for children and a break for parents. In collaboration with Libenu Foundation and located at the Joy Faith Knapp Children’s Center, Lev Chicago Respite runs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday’s from 4pm-7pm.
