When Adoption Meets the Classroom and Beyond

  • Wednesday, October 14, 2026
  • 7:30 - 8:30pm CT

From pre-K through post-high school and into young adulthood, what it means to be adopted—and to feel a sense of belonging at school and beyond—evolves.

Join Dr. Max Weinberg, educator, school leadership coach, consultant, and adoptive parent, for an interactive conversation about how adoption may show up at school, how advocacy changes as children grow, and how parents, educators, and administrators can build meaningful partnerships. Together, we’ll explore practical ways to support adopted children and young adults as they navigate school, post-secondary education, and the workplace.
