Lead by a licensed Occupational Therapist. The camp fee is $150, insurance billing possible.

Join us to continue the conversation about suicide prevention and support in the Jewish community. Rabbi David-Seth Kirshner will share his personal journey following the death of his brother Gabriel to suicide in 1996, how his family learned to cope and gradually how to heal, and how we can open up the conversation about suicide risk, learning how to take better care of ourselves and each other.

Dessert reception to follow (Kosher dietary laws observed).

Mary Dixon of the Arc of Illinois, Ligas Family Advocate Program, will share information about residential options available to individuals with developmental disabilities in the state of Illinois. She will offer comparisons of various types of residential settings, including CILA and home-based arrangements, and share creative ways to utilize Medicaid waiver funding. This event is free and open to the public.
