Letter From an IPT Parent

Letter From an IPT Parent

February is Jewish Disability, Awareness, Acceptance & Inclusion Month. In recognition, each week we will be highlighting a client success story. JCFS Chicago is proud to join Jewish organizations and communities to raise awareness and champion the civil rights of people with disabilities.

My son has greatly benefitted from the work he completed at JCFS Chicago with the stellar IPT team. Prior to coming to JCFS, I did an exhaustive search and interviewed several other types of service providers. When I first contacted JCFS, I was fortunately introduced to Jennie Marble (the director of IPT), and she became my son’s first outside therapy provider. She shared with me JCFS’s philosophy in addressing different challenges as they arise while utilizing a team approach.

My child and I both recognize that the support received from IPT was instrumental in developing his educational foundation and has helped him achieve success in high school. He earned all A’s in his first semester and has made a very positive impression on his teachers and support team. Additionally, he has developed some excellent habits, advocating for himself and seeking help when needed.

Thank you all very much for being committed to helping kids who need it.  Each of you has greatly helped my child.
