Meet Response’s New Parent & Guardian Outreach Coordinator
My name is Tema Zeldes-Roth, and I am really excited to be joining Response for Teens as a Parent & Guardian Outreach Coordinator. I am a graduate of Brown University (2024) and bringing a background in youth education and community outreach to my new role. As an educator, I have taught sixth grade reading in an AmeriCorps summer school, led arts enrichment programming for K-12 in multiple settings, and worked as a peer facilitator on my college campus.
At Response, I am looking forward to combining my background in education with my experience in community outreach and organizing. I am passionate about supporting young people and their trusted adults, particularly around engaging in difficult conversations and bridging divides. I am looking forward to partnering with and learning from community members!
Outside of my work at Response, I am a third-grade teacher at the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation religious school and a trained civic reporter in City Bureau’s Documenters program. Otherwise, I can be found in the ceramic studio or walking by the lake.
