Professional & Community Training

Our work goes beyond providing direct services to clients.

We understand that strengthening our community goes beyond providing direct services, which is why Jewish Child & Family Services offers conferences, workshops and training for professionals, staff and the general community in the areas of:

  • Mental Health
  • Developmental Pediatrics
  • Special Education
  • Social Work
  • Medicine
  • Law

These educational opportunities are organized through our Center for Practice Excellence and Jewish Community Emergency Resiliency Team. JCERT helps to support Jewish organizations and communities in responding to, handling and recovering from crises.

Clinical Psychology and Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship Training Programs

Jewish Child & Family Services provides structured learning experiences for qualified students from affiliated universities in the fields of social work, psychology, special education, speech/language therapy, dance/movement therapy and art therapy through two long-standing training programs.

Early Childhood Professionals

JCFS helps hundreds of early-childhood educators, day-care directors and staffs develop techniques and tools for caring for students with special needs, while supporting the social and emotional growth of children and their families.
