Nominations for the Response "Extraordinary Adolescent Award" Now Open

Response for Teens’ 2021 Extraordinary Adolescent Award will be presented by the Response for Teens’ Advisory Council to celebrate major accomplishments made by young people ages 12 through 24.

To be nominated, a teen or young adult should excel in one or a combination of these areas: academics, visual & performing arts, athletics, community involvement, leadership, courage to overcome, or any other remarkable trait(s) that deserve recognition.

Nominees MUST be 12 through 24 years of age and live in the Chicago Metropolitan area. The Response for Teens’ Advisory Council along with Response teen leaders will review all nominations and select the winner. The award winner will be recognized at Response for Teens’ virtual fundraiser, Tuned In: The Larry Dobkin Event on March 14, 2021.

You are welcome to nominate as many young people as you would like, including yourself.  Detailed narratives are encouraged to help us better understand the nominee’s qualifications.
We encourage you to collaborate with or involve the young person when completing the application form.
