Nominations for the Response "Extraordinary Adolescent Award" Now Open

JCFS Chicago Response for Teens helps adolescents develop the necessary skills in communication, decision-making, and leadership to deal with life’s challenges. As part of our annual fundraising event, Tuned In Chicago (March 8, 2020), Response for Teens and our Advisory Council wish to recognize a remarkable adolescent in our community. The Chicago community has many extraordinary young people making a difference through their participation in school programs, sports, religious groups, social clubs and youth organizations. We are asking for your help to give them the recognition they deserve!

To be eligible for the 2020 Extraordinary Adolescent Award, the nominee must excel in one or a combination of these areas:

  • Academics
  • Visual and/or performing arts
  • Athletics
  • Community involvement
  • Leadership
  • Courage to overcome challenges
  • Or any other remarkable trait(s) that deserve recognition

Nominees must be 12 through 24 years of age and live in the Chicago area. The Response for Teens Advisory Committee will review all nominations and select the winner. The award winner will be recognized at Tuned In Chicago on March 8, 2020.

You are welcome to nominate as many adolescents as you would like, including yourself. Nominations must be received by Sunday, January 19, 2020.

The nominee should plan to attend and will be recognized at Response’s Tuned In event on March 8 from 3-5pm at Loft 21 in Lincolnshire.
