Screens and Teens: It's Not So Simple - Parent/Teen Discussion

Now more than ever people are relying on their screens for school, work, and everyday connection. Devices can be used as a social outlet as well as a coping tool for teens. Unfortunately, screens can also be a conduit for social pressure and angst.

Join JCFS Response for Teens staff experts and local teens in a virtual discussion to increase awareness of screen use on teen mental health, identify strategies to improve communication between teens and parents, and share tools to build resilience and expand coping skills for young people.

Register today for our November 18 parent/teen movie discussion and receive link to free On-Demand movie screening of Screenagers: NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience (available November 5 – November 26).

A Zoom link will be sent by email one day prior to the parent/teen discussion. There is no cost for these events.
