Reunification Detectives: Reunification Counseling Under the Magnifying Glass
This two hour seminar will cover the steps from conceptualization to the therapeutic process of Reunification Counseling. There will be a Guardian Ad Litem to talk about how cases are identified for this type of therapy and how the court system works. The second part of the seminar, presented by Tami Sollo LCSW, Coordinator of the Divorce Specialty Center, will focus on how Critical Thinking plays an important role in conceptualizing a case.
Using a case example, small groups will learn how to look at the entire picture in order to gain a full understanding and conceptualization of the case. This discussion will include a psychological understanding of the phenomenon of Parental Alienation (PA) and how to identify when PA is taking place. Participants will gain an understanding of the process and the many pitfalls encountered with some of these cases.
2.0 CEU’s are available for $40 for outside participants.
