Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a public education program for nonprofessionals
Mental Health First Aid is an eight hour course that teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. It is an important tool for friends and family members to know how to deal with loved ones living with anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder and many other mental health conditions. Certification requires attendance at both 4-hour sessions (01/28 + 02/04).
