Mental Health First Aid

Jewish Child & Family Services and No Shame On U is proud to provide Mental Health First Aid, a public education program that teaches a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to people showing signs of a mental illness or in a crisis. First aiders learn how to identify the signs and symptoms of mental illnesses and addictions and connect people with the appropriate professional, peer, social, or self-help care. You are more likely to encounter someone in an emotional or mental crisis than someone having a heart attack. Sometimes, the best first aid is you.

This event costs $20 to attend and is open to the public. Register today!
