Creating Community for People with Disabilities– Digging Deeper

*All three sessions are required for staff working in SFPD areas, optional for other staff. See below for session dates and times.
All staff within the Disabilities division will be automatically registered (you don’t need to do it yourself).

Person-centered, community driven services can launch people with developmental disabilities from isolated service recipient to an integrated member of their communities over time. Starfire is a leader in community-based projects.  In these three sessions Starfire will delve into details about community integration and creation in different areas of life. Each session will be interactive, using stories and values as teaching tools.
