Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

This seminar will provide participants with a basic, yet practical understanding of cognitive and behavioral principles and models that inform CBT treatment.
CBT case conceptualizations will be highlighted, along with CBT key features including session structure and agenda setting, guided discovery, cognitive restructuring, behavioral experiments, and exposure treatment. Work with clients who have anxiety and depressive disorders will used to promote integration of CBT treatment tools and strategies.
Use of didactic teaching, handouts, role plays, case presentations, and group discussion will be used to enhance learning.
