Speakers:

Jeffrey Blumenfeld, LCPC. Over the last 45 years Jeff Blumenfeld has led successful careers in both the private sector and non-profit management. Prior to his transition to non-profit, he was a faculty member of the hospitality management department at Roosevelt University. Jeff is the Director of Career Services at JCFS Chicago. He joined JCFS in 2010 as a counselor, then as the counseling staff supervisor. Jeff holds a Masters in Adult Education from National Lewis University and is a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

Jennifer Krapfl, M. Ed, LPC is the Supervisor of Career Services at JCFS Chicago. She began her career as a Career Counselor and then Program Manager. She assists in all aspects of the department to achieve program goals and encourage client progress towards employment objectives. She supports and promotes counselor’s professional growth in their work through ongoing supervision and collaboration. She also serves as the team lead in Project EM, a national initiative to bring skilled career services to underserved populations. Previously, she served as an AmeriCorps literacy tutor and as the president of the Illinois Career Development Association. Jennifer has a master’s degree in community counseling from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana University.

This event costs $60 to attend and includes 3.0 CEU's for social workers, psychologists and counselors.
