Talk It Over: A Support Group for People with Disabilities

An ongoing support group for adults with disabilities that provides an opportunity to discuss current life challenges.

Topics could include:

  • social isolation
  • asserting independence
  • self-advocacy
  • healthy relationships (dating, friendship, family relationships)
  • barriers to employment
  • sexuality
  • disability identity

Group is participant-driven and discussion-based. Participants should: be able to listen to others, have a willingness to participate in discussion, be able to participate in the group independently, be respectful of others’ views and opinions.

Fee: $15 per session (partial scholarships available)
