In this workshop, we will review Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care plans. We also will discuss the Illinois Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) and Managed Long Term Services and Supports program (MLTSS) as they relate to Medicare and Medicaid, as well as those that have been in place in the State of Illinois for the past few years. In addition, we will focus on how to help your senior relatives understand the endless stream of letters and information and, if necessary, facilitate their interaction with social service and government agencies.
