Queer Teens Connect: LGBTQ+ Teen Support Group

Due to negative societal attitudes toward minoritized sexualities and gender identities, young people who identify as LGBTQ+ are at higher risk for anxiety, depression, social isolation, and experiences with violence. During adolescent years, normative struggles with identity formation and belonging are complicated by internalized stigma and shame for queer and gender-queer teens. Queer Teens Connect is a therapy/support group designed to provide LGBTQ+ teens with a safe and constructive space to explore the issues confronting them in the context of healthy peer relationships.
