Nechama: A Workshop to Comfort the Bereaved

A class for the newly bereaved where we will learn how Judaism provides a structure and support for the mourner and what helps the mourning process.

Nechama is for grievers and their loved ones who have experienced a loss during the past six months. We will look at how Judaism lays the groundwork to provide comfort for the bereaved through the use of ritual and connection to other mourners. Participants will  learn about the grief process, coping mechanisms, different grieving styles, and how to gain and receive support from friends and family.
