Group Firefly: Social Thinking for Children on the Autism Spectrum

Group Firefly uses a fun and engaging activity-based approach for teaching and practicing Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking(R) approach. This group, for children 8-15 years of age, allows for hands-on learning using play, expressive arts, and discussion.  Topics that have been covered include: self-esteem building, how to initiate a conversation, feelings identification, social media, bullying, and perspective-taking.

Parent collaboration is emphasized. Groups are divided by age and level of functioning.

Weekly for 8 weeks. Dates and times are tentative. Please call to register and confirm dates.

$200 for series; scholarships available.
