The 5th Annual Conference on Help, Healing and Hope After Loss, presented by The Jewish Healing Network and the Lauri S. Bauer Foundation for Sudden Loss Grief and the Family: Finding Balance After Loss

Dr. Janice Nadeau engages audiences with her inspirational blend of warmth, humor and compassion. Her professional work includes more than 30 years as a Psychologist and Hospice Nurse helping families navigate end of life and loss. In addition, Dr. Nadeau is uniquely qualified to speak about loss after experiencing the deaths of her adult daughter and husband in the same year. Dr. Nadeau provides tools and strategies that help strengthen families after loss. She utilizes a three dimensional Grief Mobile that helps audience members visualize and understand the ways in which the family must “re-member” after a loss. Dr. Nadeau will address the key losses that go along with the death of a family member; how bereavement differs according to the circumstances around the death, and will explain how death is the “injury” and grief is the “healer”. This evening will include a presentation, small group activity and an opportunity for questions and answers.
