The Duman Employment Center hosts workshops on many topics ranging from improving business skills to teaching new skills like how to advertise on social media, develop a winning b-plan, finance a startup or apply for a loan. Our workshops provide entrepreneurs with a set of actionable learning goals, often focused on improving a process or teaching a new skill. We work with partners like Chicago Public Libraries, Spertus Institute, Chicago’s coworking spaces and incubators, the Chicago Fashion Institute, and the JCC. We also partner with the City of Chicago Office of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP). BACP host weekly workshops on a wide variety of business topics.
