A Little History about North Shore Auxiliary
Founded over 80 years ago, North Shore Auxiliary of Jewish Child & Family Services continues to support a comprehensive spectrum of services to troubled children and their families regardless of religion or background.
Through our dedicated group of volunteers, we are able to fund a wide range of JCFS programs including:
· North Shore Auxiliary High School for teenagers with servere emotional, behavioral and learning problems.
· Take-Five Respite Program providing a much needed weekend away for families with children with disabilities.
· Psychotherapy and socialization groups for troubled children and their parents.
· Outreach to local pre-schools.
· Diagnostic and treatment services to preschool and elementary school children who are at risk for developmental delays.
· Connections Program at Highland Park High School -- a wellness-based support program.
Your participation in our Key Card Shopping Spree makes these programs possible. More than 90% of the funds raised by this event go directly to program support! NSA receives no revenues from purchases made at participating stores during Key Card week.
