This co-ed social skills group is offered to children ages 6-10 who are experiencing difficulty in their social environment. The group provides a space for hands-on learning.

Some topics that have been addressed include perspective taking, frustration tolerance, effective communication, and managing peer teasing.

Fee: $240 for the group series, sliding fee scale available

In recognition of Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month, please join us for this sixth annual event which will highlight the importance of finding and sharing personal stories to promote change in disability and aging policy. This program will create a safe space in which to explore these stories and how to harness their power.

In this combined overview seminar, you will learn the key skills to professional interactions: in-person and via phone, Skype, or email. You will learn and practice networking techniques that expand your job search capabilities including how to develop "elevator speeches" and how to design handbills. You will also gain the knowledge and confidence necessary to enter an interview fully prepared, dressed appropriately and ready to engage in an effective conversation with the interviewer.
