Group Firefly uses a fun and engaging activity-based approach for teaching and practicing social skills. This group, for children 8-15 years of age, allows for hands-on learning using play, expressive arts, and discussion. Topics that have been covered include: self-esteem building, how to initiate a conversation, feelings identification, bullying, and perspective-taking.

Fee: $240 for the series, sliding fee scale available

This group is offered to children ages 6-10 who are experiencing difficulty in their social environment. The group provides a space for hands-on learning. Some topics that have been addressed include perspective taking, frustration tolerance, effective communication, and managing peer teasing.
