At Jewish Child & Family Services, to know us is to know our dynamics.
We are a team of more than 400 professionals. We work in 10 locations across Chicagoland, but we work from hundreds of different perspectives based on our backgrounds, our races, our ethnicities, our faiths, our ages, our genders, our physical abilities, our sexual orientations, our family structure and more. The myriad perspectives we bring to our jobs help us tackle the complex, sensitive and important work that we do. And, as different as we are, we are united in sounding the beat of one drum: providing vital, results-driven programs and services to community.
To know JCFS is to know that we value the Dynamics of Difference.
Dynamics of Difference, or DOD, is our organization’s commitment to provide opportunities for collaboration, training and consultation, foster recognition and respect of diversity among staff, and positively deliver service to our clients. DOD is managed by an internal team of JCFS Program Directors, who meet regularly throughout each year to plan events and to take on initiatives that demonstrate JCFS’ allegiance to DOD, including the Diversity Tool Kit training tool for managers and teams, the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Day of Service, and more.
