Family Commons is your one-stop shop for family fun: It’s a single location with tons of recreational activities and classes where children with special needs, along with their parents and siblings, can play and learn alongside one another.
With a wide range of sports, mind-body classes, therapeutic arts, healthy cooking, and life skills classes for children and adults, Family Commons targets the physical health, social aptitude and skill-building needs of children. Yet, the program taps into everyone’s creativity, and is just plain fun for the entire family.
Spring classes will begin on Monday, May 6th and will end on Monday, June 17th. Click hereFor full descriptions, current schedule of programs and times. Family Commons takes place in West Rogers Park at the JCFS Joy Faith Knapp Children’s Center (3145 W. Pratt Blvd.).
